Shipping Policy
Last Updated: August 11, 2026
People Jewl ships imitation jewellery and Quran speakers from India to customers in India and selected international destinations.
By placing an order on PeopleJewl.com, you agree to the shipping terms described below.
1. Order Processing
Orders are generally processed within 1–3 business days after successful payment confirmation.
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays may be processed on the next business day.
During sales, promotions, holidays or periods of unusually high order volume, processing may take longer. If there is a significant delay, we will make reasonable efforts to inform you.
2. Shipping Time
Estimated delivery time depends on the destination, shipping method, courier service and customs clearance.
Typical international delivery may take approximately 5–15 business days after dispatch, but this is an estimate and not a guaranteed delivery period.
Delivery may take longer because of:
* Customs clearance
* Import inspections
* Local holidays
* Weather conditions
* Courier delays
* Incorrect or incomplete address information
* Remote-area delivery
* Customs duties or documentation requirements
* Other circumstances outside our reasonable control
3. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are calculated and displayed at checkout based on the destination, package weight, shipping method and applicable rates.
The shipping charge shown at checkout covers the shipping service selected for the order.
Additional customs duties, import taxes, brokerage charges, clearance fees or other destination-country charges are not included unless expressly stated at checkout.
4. International Customs, Duties and Taxes
All international orders are shipped on a basis where the customer is responsible for applicable import duties, taxes and customs-related charges.
The customer is responsible for:
* Import duties
* Customs duties
* Import taxes
* VAT/GST or similar destination-country taxes
* Customs clearance charges
* Brokerage or handling fees
* Any other charges imposed by the destination country or carrier
People Jewl does not control the customs laws, duty rates, tax rates or clearance procedures of the destination country.
Customs authorities make their own decisions regarding the classification, valuation, inspection and clearance of imported goods.
People Jewl is not responsible for customs duties, taxes, clearance charges or delays caused by customs authorities.
5. Customs Clearance
Customers are responsible for providing any information or documentation required by their local customs authorities or courier.
If additional documents, identification, tax information or other information is required to clear an order, the customer must provide it promptly.
People Jewl is not responsible for delays resulting from the customer’s failure to provide required information or complete customs procedures.
6. Refused or Abandoned Shipments
If an international customer refuses delivery, does not pay applicable customs duties/taxes, fails to complete customs clearance, or otherwise causes the shipment to be returned or abandoned, the customer may be responsible for any resulting:
* Return shipping charges
* Customs charges
* Storage charges
* Handling charges
* Brokerage charges
* Other costs incurred by People Jewl
Any refund, where applicable, may be reduced by such costs to the extent permitted by applicable law.
7. Incorrect or Incomplete Address
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address, phone number and other information required for delivery.
People Jewl is not responsible for delays, failed delivery or additional charges resulting from incorrect, incomplete or outdated address information provided by the customer.
If a shipment needs to be reshipped because of incorrect address information, additional shipping charges may apply.
8. Tracking
Where tracking is available, tracking information will be provided to the customer after the order has been dispatched.
Customers are responsible for monitoring their shipment and responding to courier or customs requests where necessary.
Tracking information may take some time to become active after dispatch.
9. Lost or Delayed Shipments
If a shipment appears to be lost or significantly delayed, People Jewl may contact the shipping carrier and initiate an investigation where available.
Delivery delays caused by customs, government authorities, courier networks, weather, strikes, natural disasters or other events beyond our reasonable control do not constitute a failure by People Jewl to ship the order.
Any resolution for lost shipments will be handled according to the applicable carrier procedures and our Return & Refund Policy.
10. Product Availability
If an ordered product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, People Jewl may contact the customer regarding available alternatives or provide an applicable refund.
11. International Shipping Restrictions
Some products or destinations may be subject to shipping restrictions, customs regulations or import requirements.
People Jewl reserves the right to cancel or decline an order where shipping the product to the destination is prohibited, impractical or not reasonably possible.
12. Delivery Confirmation
A shipment may be considered delivered when the carrier’s tracking system records the package as delivered to the shipping address provided by the customer.
If you believe your package was incorrectly marked as delivered, please contact us as soon as possible.
